Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Prompt Compare Lab collects, how that information is used, when it is shared, and the choices available to account holders and workspace users.

Last updated May 12, 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, password-based account credentials, OAuth account identifiers, billing details handled through our payment processor, prompts, files, workspace content, profile memory, and support communications.

We also collect service data generated when you use the platform, including session activity, usage metrics, model and provider selections, payment and subscription events, logs, browser details, IP-related security data, and cookie or similar session data needed to operate the service.

2. Google User Data We Collect

If you choose to sign in with Google or otherwise authorize Google account access, we may collect the Google user data made available by the scopes you approve, such as your Google account email address, profile name, unique Google account identifier, and profile image URL.

We only request and collect Google user data that is needed to authenticate your account, create and maintain your Prompt Compare Lab account and workspace, and support the Google-connected features you choose to use.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information, including Google user data, to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, create and manage accounts and workspaces, process billing, send transactional emails, support customer requests, monitor usage, detect abuse, enforce our terms, and improve the product.

We use Google user data specifically to let you sign in, identify your account, maintain your session, associate your account with the correct workspace, prevent unauthorized access, and respond to support or security issues related to your account.

We may also use de-identified or aggregated information for analytics, capacity planning, and service improvement. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use Google user data for advertising or to train generalized AI models.

4. AI Model and Provider Processing

When you use model comparison, scoring, or related AI features, the prompts, files, instructions, and other materials you submit may be sent to third-party model providers or infrastructure providers selected by the service so those features can operate.

You should not submit personal data, regulated data, trade secrets, or confidential information unless you have assessed that use and are authorized to disclose it for processing through the service and its subprocessors.

5. How We Share Information

We share information with service providers and subprocessors that help us operate the service, such as cloud hosting providers, storage providers, identity providers, email delivery providers, analytics tools, payment processors, and AI model providers.

If you use Google sign-in or other Google-connected features, we may share relevant Google user data with service providers only as needed to operate the service, such as authentication, hosting, storage, and customer support providers acting on our behalf.

We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or similar transaction.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, secure sign-in flows, remember product state, and support core platform functionality. Some third-party providers may also set their own cookies when you use integrated login or payment flows.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security, backup, and business records.

Retention periods may vary by data type, workspace configuration, billing status, and legal requirements. Google user data associated with your account is retained only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account security, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate recordkeeping needs.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices

You may update certain account information through the product. You may also choose whether to use password login or supported OAuth providers where available.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. We may need to retain some information where required for security, billing, recordkeeping, or legal compliance.

If you no longer want to use Google sign-in or Google-connected access, you can stop using that sign-in method, and you can also manage or revoke your Google account connection through your Google account permissions and your Prompt Compare Lab account settings where available.

10. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and you may not use the service if you are under the minimum age required by applicable law to form a binding agreement.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use of the service after the updated policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
